ISOFAR is an independent, global network of scientists who support and conduct research in Organic Agriculture. We are a diverse group of individuals from a broad range of demographics. Our members come from around the world and across many different disciplines. They are researchers, educators, students, and advocates – or they are just eager to know more about the latest research in organic and sustainable agriculture. By becoming an ISOFAR member you are joining a broad community that cooperates to advance research, knowledge, and activities centered around organic agriculture.

The annual membership fee is structured based on your home country’s Human Development Index (HDI). You can look up your country HDI here. Students, retirees, and those who are unemployed are subject to a discounted rate.
Very High HDI (above 0.80)
€60/year: standard individual fee
€30/year: students, retirees, unemployed
High HDI (0.70 – 0.79)
€40/year: standard individual fee
€20/year: students, retirees, unemployed
Medium HDI (0.55 – 0.69)
€20/year: standard individual fee
€10/year: students, retirees, unemployed
Low HDI (below 0.55)
€10/year: standard individual fee
€5/year: students, retirees, unemployed
After completing the registration form, your application will be placed on hold. The ISOFAR board will then review it at the monthly meeting. If approved, you will receive an email invitation to pay the membership fee. Once your payment has been confirmed, your account will be activated and you will gain access to all membership benefits, including members-only content on the website.
